"Fall migrations can be a colorful experience in Louisiana. Acadian and Great Crested Flycatchers, Yellow-throated Vireo, Swainsons and Wood Thrushes, Black-and-white and Hooded Warblers, American Redstart, and Bay-breasted, Chestnut-sided, Yellow-throated, and Black-throated Green Warblers are often participants in the pageantry as countless migrants returning from the Neotropics wend their way along in answer to some ancient, unheard and unseen signal to migrate."
