Program Description

Practice then play on Sunday afternoons at a neighborhood nearest you with this safe, non-contact alternative to tackle football. Co-ed teams focus on skill development with a 30 minute practice followed by a 30 minute scrimmage.

Late Registration will be available past the registration deadline until all teams are full and will incur an additional $10 fee.

  • EQUIPMENT - LASOAR, with the help of our sponsors, will provide all equipment needed for play. This will include: Footballs, flags, team t-shirt and/or mesh pinnies. Our flag football league is a non-contact activity, however, you may choose to purchase additional safety equipment such as a mouth guard, knee or elbow pads, and/or helmet. These items are not required but may help protect your young player in the case of accidental collision.

  • COACHES - LASOAR invites parents to volunteer (no football experience necessary, some experience working with youth may be helpful). Part time staff coaching positions are also available. Email laura@lasoar.org to apply.

  • SNACKS - LASOAR utilizes Signupgenius.com to organize snack sign ups. A snack sign up link will be sent out via e-mail at least 2 weeks prior to Session 1. Description

    Before each game, Mrs. Laura Palmer, LASOAR's C.E.O. and Founder, will lead a quick warm up followed by instruction and practice of a new skill.  Players will receive feedback on performance and individualized instruction to ensure learning and fun!  

    Sunday night Kickball games are a great way for your child to catch up with their school pals and even make new ones.  Moms and Dads are encouraged to play too!
